SEO South Devon was born out of the frustration of being misled and
misinformed by so called search engine optimisation masters.
We have spent £1000's of pounds over the past few years on various
SEO campaigns to get our website recognised by Google.
The end result was a poor bank balance and a website nowhere to be
seen. So we decided to do something about it. We bought books went
on courses and read a lot of specialised forums.
The end result being our website listed on the 1st page of
Google for some major search terms.
So, with this knowledge and a desire to keep learning and keep up to
date with the ever changing algorithms that Google and other search
engines present us with. We decided to try to help local businesses
increase traffic to their websites and hence give them every chance
of increasing their profits.

experts. Search Engine Optimisation is all about what the search
engines are looking for from your website. This can and does change
all the time, so we take pride in keeping up to date with all of the

What can we do for you?
We will firstly take a good look at your
website and tell you if any on page changes need to be made. This
can include simply changing your websites title tags or adding extra
content to the website so Google finds it more relevant to your

Search engine optimisation is not a quick process. If your website
is new it will take time to see results. If your site is established
and been around for a few years you may start to see results in a
few weeks.
Any competitor worth
his or her salt will be constantly battling to climb the search
engine rankings. If they are already top then they are spending even
more to stay there (but they would only be doing that if it was
worth it to them).
Our plans are generally spread out over a specific time period. This can range from 1 month to 12 depending on the size of the project. Do not be fooled by companies promising the earth inside a month. The search engines will take a few weeks to spot changes to your website and even longer to index any links from other sites to yours. Also if too many links to your website are done in a short period of time Google will think this is unnatural and your site could be penalised and will drop in rankings or worse drop off the search engine all together.
